Practical
English, Maths and ICT skills are required not only for work but also to deal with everyday situations in all aspects of life.
After an initial meeting with your Advisor you will better understand where your strengths lie and you will be given support to improve identified skills.
English
You will develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing English and be better able to communicate with a wider range of people.
Maths
You will become more confident in using maths to solve problems and be able to explain how solutions have been reached.
ICT
You will be able to use ICT in home and work situations to gather information, solve problems and communicate.
